In this treatment yeast infection patients are ordered to avoid the consumption of basically all yeasty foods and sugary foods and are given allergenic substance in dilute doses normally in the form of oral drops or injection to enhance the immune abilities of the body and reduce the allergic response.

The method also called Enzyme Potentiated Desensitization (EPD) was developed by Len McEwen, M.D. (London) in the mid-60’s. The newest form of this treatment is called Low Dose Allergens or LDA.

In this treatment the patients receive up to three injections every two months and for a maximum period of two years, depending on the patients response to the therapy. The enzymes are suppose to enhance the candida infection strength and may treat several other groups of allergens along the way.

The EPD treatment for candida yeast infection goes like this:

For a period of ten days before the first injection, the patients are given Sporanox, which is an anti fungal for systematic candida, and De-Nol an anti- gastric ulcer agent that reduces the ability of candida to plant its roots in the mucus linings of the intestinal tract.

For approximately 3 days before the injection, patients undergo a semi-fast in which they need to avoid the consumption of all food allergens combined with the intake of the following supplements that improve the effectiveness of the EPD treatment: Zinc, Folic acid and Vitamin D3.

The response of the EPD treatment for candida yeast infection varies among patients. Some patients may experience sudden and dramatic improvement that wears off in time while some need increased doses through longer intervals until improvement is maintained.

Either way, EPD is not a permanent solution for candida. EPD is after all a one-dimensional treatment that focuses merely on the dietary and allergy reaction factor that trigger candida overgrowth. EPD’s effects wear off in time and If you have significant gut problems, bacterial infections, parasites or systematic candida, EPD will not work.

The only way one can ever overcome candida yeast infection is by tackling all candida-contributing factors, the holistic way, not just the dietary or allergy triggering factors. By fixing the internal cause of candida overgrowth, all candida related symptoms would banish, permanently along with the feeling of increased energy, improved vision, health and well-being.

…then you’ve experienced firsthand some of the possible symptoms of a panic or anxiety attack. If you are reading this page because a loved one suffers from these symptoms and you are trying to understand or help, it’s hard to appreciate what they go through.

Just try to imagine what it feels like to experience one, if you can.

Here is a typical example:

Standing in a supermarket queue, it’s been a long wait but only one customer to go before you make it to the cashier. Wait, what was that sensation? An unpleasant feeling forms in your throat, your chest feels tighter, now a sudden shortness of breath, and what do you know—your heart skips a beat. “Please, God, not here.”

A quick scan of the territory—is it threatening? Four unfriendly faces queue behind, one person in front. Pins and needles seem to prick you through your left arm, you feel slightly dizzy, and then the explosion of fear as you dread the worst. You are about to have a panic attack.

There is no doubt in your mind now that this is going to be a big one. Okay, focus: Remember what you have been taught, and it is time now to apply the coping techniques. Begin the deep breathing exercise your doctor recommended. In through the nose, out through the mouth.

Think relaxing thoughts, and again, while breathing in, think “Relax,” and then breathe out. But it doesn’t seem to be having any positive effect; in fact, just concentrating on breathing is making you feel self-conscious and more uptight.

Okay, coping technique 2:

Gradual muscle relaxation. Tense both shoulders, hold for 10 seconds, then release. Try it again. No; still no difference. The anxiety is getting worse and the very fact that you are out of coping techniques worsens your panic. If only you were surrounded by your family, or a close friend were beside you so you could feel more confident in dealing with this situation.

Now, the adrenaline is really pumping through your system, your body is tingling with uncomfortable sensations, and now the dreaded feeling of losing complete control engulfs your emotions. No one around you has any idea of the sheer terror you are experiencing. For them, it’s just a regular day and another frustratingly slow queue in the supermarket.

You are out of options. Time for Plan C.

The most basic coping skill of all is “fleeing.” Excuse yourself from the queue; you are slightly embarrassed as it is now that it is your turn to pay. The cashier is looking bewildered as you leave your shopping behind and stroll towards the door. There is no time for excuses—you need to be alone. You leave the supermarket and get into your car to ride it out alone. Could this be the big one? The one you fear will push you over the edge mentally and physically. Ten minutes later the panic subsides.

It’s 10:30 a.m. How are you going to make it through the rest of the day?

If you suffer from panic or anxiety attacks, the above scenerio probably sounds very familiar. It may have even induced feelings of anxiety and panic just reading it. The particular situations that trigger your panic and anxiety may differ; maybe the bodily sensations are a little different. Or maybe it happened to you for the first time on a plane, in the dentist chair, or even at home, while doing nothing in particular.

If you have ever had what has become known as a “panic attack,” take comfort in the fact that you are by no means alone.

A panic attack always comes with the acute sense of impending doom. You feel you are either about to lose your mind or one of your vital bodily functions is about to cease functioning and you will end your days right there among the canned goods and frozen food.

You are by no means alone; you’re not even one in a million. In America, it is estimated that almost 5% of the population suffer from some form of anxiety disorder. For some, it may be the infrequent panic attacks that only crop up in particular situations-like when having to speak in front of others, while, for other people, it can be so frequent and recurring that it inhibits them from leaving their home. Frequent panic attacks often develop into what medical physicians refer to as an “anxiety disorder.”

One of the first steps to regaining control of your life is getting helpful information. This site will give you that, and more.

The beginning of your recovery starts here. What you will learn is that there is a very good chance you are about to end the cycle of panic attacks in your life. You will learn not only to regain the carefree life you remember once having, but will also gain new confidence in living. Your answer to living free from “panic” or “anxiety attacks” is at hand.

This site demonstrates that the panic and anxiety that you have experienced will be the very key to your courage and success.

Begin the road to recovery by browsing through the site. While many of you may have read almost everything you can possibly read relating to panic and anxiety I assure you this site offers something very effective.

Did you know…?

The key difference between someone who is cured of panic attacks and those who are not is really very simple. The people who are cured no longer fear panic attacks. I’ll try to show you how to be one of these people as well.

What if I told you the trick to ending panic and anxiety attacks is to want to have one. That sounds strange, even contradictory, but let me explain.

The trick to panic attacks is wanting to have one-the wanting pushes it away. Can you have a panic attack in this very second? No!

You know the saying that “what you resist, persists.” Well that saying applies perfectly to fear. If you resist a situation out of fear, the fear around that issue will persist. How do you stop resisting–you move directly into it, into the path of the anxiety, and by doing so it cannot persist.

In essence what this means is that if you daily voluntarily seek to have a panic attack, you cannot have one. Try in this very moment to have a panic attack and I will guarantee you cannot. You may not realize it but you have always decided to panic. You make the choice by saying this is beyond my control.

Another way to appreciate this is to imagine having a panic attack as like standing on a cliff’s edge. The anxiety seemingly pushes you closer to falling over the edge.

To be rid of the fear you must metaphorically jump. You must jump off the cliff edge and into the anxiety and fear and all the things that you fear most.

How do you jump? You jump by wanting to have a panic attack. You go about your day asking for anxiety and panic attacks to appear.

Your real safety is the fact that a panic attack will never harm you. That is medical fact. You are safe, the sensations are wild but no harm will come to you. Your heart is racing but no harm will come to you. The jump becomes nothing more than a two foot drop! Perfectly safe.

This question evokes varying responses from different people. Romance and emotion do play their part in the decision of having a baby. However, it is not uncommon to feel pained and frustrated, especially among the couples who are not able to become parents). Ideas of a kinky nature are bound to come to such couples.

Most newly wed couples take adequate protection against having a baby too quickly. However, in a matter of months, even as the duo is still getting to know each other properly, the eagerness to conceive a kid increases. This is hardly surprising, given the natural instinct of motherhood in ladies. A wife always wants to become a mother, since that gives her a sense of fulfillment. Thus, even in a fiercely competitive world, where the cost of everyday living runs into thousands, the craving for a baby remains high.

However, the females need to know how to get pregnant in a proper, healthy manner. The welfare and healthiness of both the mother and the kid, who would be seeing the light of the world soon, is of paramount importance. Hence, a careful perusal of the following discussion is necessary:

• Women should start preparing to become a mother, at least 3 to 4 months prior to the actual delivery,
• Holistic measures for the maintenance of good health conditions is necessary for both the mother and child,
• A soon-to-be-mother should completely shun smoking and drinking habits,
• It is of paramount importance that no drugs of intoxication are consumed,
• Healthy, adequate nourishment is extremely necessary for women at these times. This is because both the pre-delivery and post-delivery periods are generally rather stressful for them, and
• For maintaining the desirable health conditions, minerals, proteins (that are easy to digest) and minerals should be consumed in adequate amounts.

It is also crucial to pay heed to some other important factors. Some such factors are:

Thorough knowledge of one’s own body ? The period of ovulation in a woman is the ideal time for her to conceive a baby. Thus, she should be aware of the time of ovulation. There are, fortunately, many ways to find out what the time of ovulating would be. The ‘Post Ovulation Time’ (also termed the Luteal Phase) has to be estimated. This period, i.e., the time between ovulating and the date of commencement of the menstrual cycle, generally is fixed at 14 days in most women. The period starts after the length of the Luteal Phase, or 14 days after the occurrence of ovulation. There is an alternative way to find out the period of ovulation, which is based on the Basal Body Temperature method (i.e., the BBT technique). In this method, the temperature of the vagina is recorded by a specially-made BBT thermometer. This is done everyday in the morning. During the period of ovulation, this temperature rises significantly, and such increases can be easily tracked. For higher chances of conceiving a baby, sexual intercourse at these times is ideal.

When does sexual union helps in conception the most? ? This information is necessary, since it ensures that the sperms of the best quality enter the female body at the time of ovulation. Sperms should have quick reaction time when a woman ovulates. Hence, fresh sperm is required to be present in the body of the female immediately before ovulating. However, there may occur certain problems in the sperm of the males too. In such cases, men should not be releasing sperms, for a minimum of 3 days before the scheduled day of sexual union. These data is extremely important, in case you are wondering how to get pregnant.

The ideal frequency of lovemaking for higher chances of conceiving ? Among other factors, a correct estimate of the ovulation period in women and the overall physique of men determine the ideal frequency of sexual union. There is a school of thought that, sperm count goes down, with a resultant weakening of the male sperm, if intercourse is held everyday. Conversely, others tend to think that the male sperm becomes ineffective, old and stale (with much lower potency) if it remains within the testicles, due to prolonged periods of abstinence. It is generally recommended that, sexual union, during the period of female ovulation, should be held about once in every 2 days.

It is always better to provide holistic solutions to the question of how to get pregnant. Such an approach helps to gain an insight about the inner workings of our body, and the reasons for not conceiving earlier. It also comes up with several usable solutions to this problem, including medicines and herbs of Chinese origin as well as changes in eating habits and overall lifestyle. Suitable exercise methods and, if required, acupuncture is also recommended. Unlike the conventional methods, the holistic approach has no adverse side effects, and has a much higher chance of providing the desired results. Hence, in these cases, holistic approach works much better than conventional ways.

Is there a permanent cure for acne or are all acne sufferers sentenced to the Sisyphean battle of tackling the ‘on the surface’ symptoms? Is there an honest, natural and safer alternative to the endless use of over the counters and to the nasty side effects inflicted by conventional drugs, creams and topical acne treatments?

Most dermatologists and other western medicine followers have already answered that controversial question by claiming that acne, among other diseases simply cannot be cured.

There are 2 reasons for that:

1. Most dermatologists don’t even know what the real cause of acne is. It’s amazing but true. They are highly familiar with the symptoms of acne and they specialize in tackling the ‘on the surface’ symptoms, but unfortunately they cannot tell you what the internal conditions are that cause your acne to form in the first place. If you don’t believe me just ask your dermatologist.

2. Most doctors work in conjunction with the pharmaceutical and drug companies and the latter is not motivated, so to speak, at discovering a cure for Acne or Aids or Cancer – simply because hundreds of millions of dollars have been spent on finding treatments for the symptoms of diseases. Why? simply because their global aim is to make more profit by creating consumer dependency. By applying medications and creams that deal merely with the symptoms while ignoring the source or the internal cause of the disease, acne will never be cured. The average acne sufferer will become more and more reliant on drugs that temporarily calm the symptoms and that means steady income for the drug and pharmaceutical companies.

There’s a lovely metaphor describing acne among other chronic diseases and the way modern medicine deals with these afflictions: If you manage to kill all the mosquitoes around a stale pond using chemicals, for a little while there will be no mosquitoes.

But since the source of the problem (what causes the mosquitoes to appear) is still there – the stale, disgusting pond where mosquitoes can find food and fertile ground for laying their eggs – mosquitoes will always come back!

The same thing happens with your acne!

Without eliminating the source of your acne condition, you will never get rid of your acne. Without fixing the internal problem that is causing your acne, you may find temporary relief, but your acne will always come back until you do something fundamental to eradicate the cause from within…until you make the pond (your body or internal system) a place where ‘mosquitoes’ cannot exist.

Ultimately, every disease results from a breakdown within your body. All major diseases and chronic conditions are warning signs of something very fundamentally wrong inside. Deepak Chopra refers to this as “The violation of simple laws of nature that make our body function.”

The very surprising truth is that you are lucky for having acne. Let me explain…Acne, like constant headaches, irritable bowel syndrome or dandruffs is only a small message from your body that something is wrong internally and should be addressed and corrected.

Now, there are two choices you can make – you can:

1.Ignore that message – big mistake! The internal imbalance that caused your acne will, in most cases, turn into a chronic condition. Now instead of just having acne you’ll start having other hormonal imbalance or toxic overload related symptoms in addition to acne. Because the internal problem is not fixed, the disease symptoms get more and more intense.

2.Listen to your body and start fixing the internal problem that causes your acne to appear in the first place; you will not only get rid of your acne you will also achieve beautiful, healthy, even toned clear skin complexion, re-balance your body and prevent future hormonal or toxic overload related conditions.

The simple truth is…you are out of balance. We now live a ‘far-from-natural’ lifestyle. There are over 300 synthetic industrial chemicals present in our bodies that did not exist 50 years ago. We are filled with toxins from the food, and medication we ingest and use.

By fixing the internal condition that causes your acne in addition to adopting a healthy lifestyle (healthy diet & mindset, cleanse & detoxify, hormonal balancing etc.) you will put your body back into balance – holistically – your acne will cease to exist and you feel as healthy and attractive as ever!

It doesn’t matter what type of acne you have. Whether you suffer from: acne vulgaris, acne Conglobata, acne Rosacea, Acne Fulminans, Blackheads, Whiteheads, Papules, Pustules, Nodules or Cysts: The principles required to cure your acne are basically the same. The “holistic” ways of treating people have been around for thousands of years, and they absolutely work whether you have teen or adult acne; whether you suffer from acne on your back, shoulders or chest or if you suffer from female related acne such as menopause acne or acne due to monthly cycles.

Whatever your acne condition is, when you finally decide to stop making the same acne treatment mistakes that have been holding you back and begin applying the holistic approach to curing acne, you can literally choose to become clear and stay clear. You will have the power to make it happen.

One of the lesser known truths of tea is that there are many other varieties of it other than the basic black tea. The lesser known cousin of black tea, which is green tea, is enjoyed by a lot of people, especially from Japan. Though the lesser popular of the two, green tea has been found to have a lot of healing properties coupled with the amazing ability to perk you up on a lazy afternoon. It is very light on the stomach as compared to black tea and is generally liked for its refreshing taste. Green tea can cure a lot of ailments ranging from cardiovascular diseases to obesity. Though the basic process of the tea is same, green tea is not allowed to ferment for longer periods of time so that the medicinal properties are not lost. Unlike black tea, this is dried and is used when completely fresh so that it is more effective.

A number of substances which are not found in black tea are found in abundance in green tea. It contains a lot of anti-oxidants which are helpful to the body. Also, polyphenol, which is present, is known to have myriad health benefits. One of the primary reasons for the widespread use of green tea is because it helps the brain to develop faster and be more alert. Also it increases the general health of the body without the fear of any side-effects. It has been in existence in the streets of every city of Asia for a very long time now. The West has come to know the medicinal properties a few decades back and have been greatly impressed by it.

In earlier times, people who drank green tea had amazing health but they did not know the logistics behind it. It was only after recent research that they have come to know of the various properties of the same which are helpful medically. It is able to help the body on an overall basis rather than being suitable for any part of the body. Studies have suggested that people who drink around 5 cups of green tea daily are found to have 16% risk of dying from any disease than people who do not. Also, the five cups are found to reduce the chances of cardiovascular attacks by a staggering 26%.

The next point is most likely to click with those people who are a bit obese. Apart from the medicinal values mentioned above, there is also the great property of green tea to help obese people lose weight. There are a lot of substances in this tea which are found to have fat burning effects. These substances help in using the fat for energy instead of only the sugars which makes obesity such an easy issue to tackle with!

The tree which we are talking about is the ancient herb tree which has been known to have healing properties from a very long time in history. It has been able to garner a huge number of supporters in the land of India where it was originally found. The tulsi tree is also known as the Holy Basil tree. With the advent of globalization and people becoming aware of eastern ways of healing, this organic tulsi tree is being able to be enjoyed by the Western civilization nowadays.

One of the best properties of tulsi tea is that it helps in de-stressing our lives. An age in which there is an abundance of stress in our lives, this organic tulsi tea helps in providing a soothing and calming effect on most of us. This is one of the most famous herbs of India which is being used in the West right now. This is a prominent part of the Ayurveda method of curing illnesses and has been very successful in providing relief to a lot of people on different levels.

These are highly thought of by people who prefer to use alternative and natural ways to cure asthma. These herbal cures for asthma have been tried and tested for ages now and have become popular. Let us have a look at some of these herbal cures for asthma.

Garlic is an excellent herbal ingredient that can alleviate asthma. You can mix some garlic with boiled milk whenever you feel that you are going to have an attack of asthma. This kind of treatment proves to be an effective way to relieve all the symptoms that can possibly be associated with an asthma attack. The next herbal ingredient that is effective as a cure for asthma is turmeric. It is considered to be very useful for treating asthma patients. The best way to use turmeric is to mix a spoon of turmeric powder with a glass of milk and drink it twice daily. You will be able to notice the difference in a few weeks to months, depending on the intensity of asthma attacks that you get. This can help to reduce the frequency of the attacks that you may get. Mustard oil is another ingredient that is considered to be a very effective herbal cure for treating asthma. It is not drunk but is used as massage oil. It is the most effective when it is mixed with camphor and then massaged gently on the chest of the asthma patient. This particular herbal ingredient helps the patient to start breathing easily as it helps to loosen the phlegm (mucus) that has built up in the chest.

Ginger is considered to be another ingredient that can be used as a herbal cure for asthma patients. You could make some ginger tea whenever you feel like having tea, mix some crushed garlic in it and drink it at least twice daily. Not only does it alleviate the symptoms associated with the asthmatic condition but it also helps to keep the problem under control over a long period of time. There are many other herbal ingredients that you can use to cure or alleviate the problems caused by asthma. Roman chamomile is a flower that should be boiled and then the vapour needs to be inhaled. Eucalyptus is another herb that is used for inhalation. Another herbal treatment consists of using the leaves and flowers of gum plant.

Sage and thyme are also used as inhalants. Apart from these herbal remedies for asthma, you can also use stinging nettle, green tea, mullein and hyssop herb. These help to reduce the nasal congestion and thereby open the bronchial passage. Though these herbal remedies are effective to treat or cure asthma, you should always consult your physician before you use any herbal cures.

It is the twenty-first century and the technology has advanced by leaps and bounds. The world today has become busier and more complex with each passing year. Though technology has given us machines that are supposed to make life easier for us, they have all the means and methods to make our lives more complicated and lacking time. There are multiple things that consume our time today – long daily commutes to our offices, working overtimes and much more. It has become indeed very difficult for people to be able to find time for them today.

No matter how much advanced the science and technology is today, medical science has still not found a way to increase the number of hours in a day. However, they definitely have come up with herbal supplements for energy that will take you through the hard and tough days with some ease and pace. These herbal supplements help both men and women to keep going throughout the day. These herbal supplements along with the daily doses of sugar, caffeine and other such things help us to be energetic for some more hours than the usual.

However, we should always remember that these herbal supplements could take a toll on the long-term health. On a short-term basis, the herbal supplements provide some form of energy that can lead us to be awake and functioning technically. Our minds may be tired, exhausted and sans any sort of response. But our bodies have the stamina to go on for sometime. But when the effect of these herbal supplements starts to fade away, people come crashing down from their high.

Using these herbal supplements over a long period of time can boost up your energy levels but at the same time, they can cause considerable damage to human body, especially the heart. These supplements are as good as having drug addictions because over a period of time, the body reacts to these supplements in a particular manner. In fact, the body gets so accustomed to these herbal supplements that it becomes impossible for the body to function normally without these. At times, the sleep pattern gets disturbed and may even result in insomnia.

Herbal energy supplements offer all benefits that are associated with caffeine without causing any major side effects or long-term damage to the human body. These herbal energy supplements use all the natural elements to ensure that the body continues to get a gentle but continuous supply of energy boost. This means that the body does not crash when the effect of the supplements fade away and also there is no dependence on chemical supplements. Since these herbal supplements use natural elements, they can work with your body to produce continuous flow of energy. This is the result of years of research by herbal medicine scientists and experts to understand the limitations of the human body and the ways that can be adopted to maximize its potential.

The body consists of multiple harmful and toxic agents that need to be flushed out of your body frequently so as to avoid unnecessary hassles like body troubles and illnesses. This is also known as detox. Detox is applied usually to remove alcohol from a person who is addicted to it or to remove drugs from a person. Detox can be used to remove toxins that are found in the body due to the accumulation of undigested food in the body. There are many methods of detoxification. One of the most popular one is the herbal detox.

Herbal detox is considered to be an alternative treatment that is done to remove all the toxic elements and agents from your body. Since toxins are usually produced due to the indigestion of food, hence the most common organs that are affected by these toxic materials are liver, lungs, kidneys and the bowels. These organs play a pivotal role in remove excreta or waste from the human body. How it happens is that the liver filters the foreign liquids and solids from the body. In the process of respiration, lungs remove the unwanted gases from the human body. Kidneys contribute to the process of waste removal by removing the unwanted material from the blood and also urine. Hence, in the process of herbal detox, we need to remove the toxicity from these four organs.

Herbal elements are nothing but food items that we intake. These contain substances that get together to produce vitamins, minerals, enzymes and other nutrients that are responsible for providing the adequate and essential nutrition to the human body. Herbal items can be taken at any point of time in any form. Mostly, these are available in the organic stores. Some of the most commonly used herbal food items are ginger, dandelion, berries of cedar, red beetroot etc.

Let us have a look at the ways that need to be adopted to detoxify the body using herbal treatment.

The primary aspect of the skin is to protect the internal organs of the body from the external environment. So for this, the skin needs to be maintained in a pristine manner so that it is able to perform all its functions properly. The skin is made up of small pores which help in myriad ways. For instance, the pores allow the skin to breathe, thus reducing the workload on the lungs. Apart from this, there are a lot of sebaceous and sweat glands which secrete their oils through the skin pore. The mixture of all these oils makes up a pH value of the skin which is around 5.5. This is slightly higher than what is considered the perfect pH balance of 7.

The slightly acidic manner of the skin acts as a defense mechanism for the body from foreign materials. But this develops at a slightly older age which is why most children are susceptible to illnesses as compared to adults. The skin which is visible on children’s bodies has a value which is closer to the pH balance of 7. This is because of the absence of hair on the skin. When people hit puberty, the body begins to develop hair follicles on the skin which in turn leads to increased sebum and oil production. As a result, the skin begins to have a slightly acidic tinge to it and the value rises to 5.5.

The skin of people needs to be maintained at a slightly acidic level so that the body is able to ward off the bacterial attacks. But as we age, the skin loses it s acidic value and tends to have a more neutralized pH balance. One of the primary reasons for this is the excess use of commercially available soap. Most soap has a high alkaline value of around 9 which after prolonged use tends to change the pH value of the body. There are a lot of disadvantages of using soap which is alkaline content. This tends to dry the skin as well, thus speeding up the ageing process. As an alternate, people can make use of herbal products in lieu of soap which will help them to maintain the original pH balance of the skin, thus reducing being prone to bacteria.

There is another factor which has a profound effect on the skin’s pH balance. The presence of micro-flora on the skin tends to break down the fatty acids of the body which results in the acidic pH value. So to avoid this, you should use only natural soap and other products which will help the skin to maintain a pH balance. It is always better to opt for products that have their base ingredients as natural herbs as there are no side-effects as well.
